Niwot High School Booster Club

The Legacy Campaign

Niwot High School Boosters and Education Foundation share the common goal of improving the student experience at Niwot High School. To that end, we will be working together on a single fundraising initiative to benefit all of our students. Our first project will be funding the Student Wellness Initiative.

Research has shown that students’ academic  performance and overall well-being benefit from natural light, fresh air, as well as from engagement in co-curricular activities. This initiative will provide opportunities for our students to experience and benefit from those proven areas.

We are seeking the support of our community to make this dream a reality. Our school IS our community. The better Niwot High School is, the better Niwot is. A strong school attracts the best teachers and students and improves home values. Help us make our school and community the shining example in our district.

Athletic Performance Center

Student focused health and fitness

With an emphasis on fitness for all students, the weight room saw a complete overhaul. A new, circuit style, configuration maximizes
the footprint with 10 new full weight racks with benches and connecting bridges and cardio/TRX stations accommodating more students in a safe workout area. There are also many new dumbbells, kettlebells, and medicine balls allowing all students to work on weight training and core strength. Through The Legacy Campaign the Niwot High School Education Foundation was also able to help purchase new plyometric boxes, jump ropes, slam balls, and weight plates and vests. An assortment of balance disks and other small equipment was also purchased.

Mile High Magazine has ranked NHS the #1 4A Athletic Program in the state two years in a row. We want to continue and expand opportunities for all students, both athletes and non-athletes. The space will benefit ALL students, whether through PE classes or sport-focused training. Student focused health and fitness.

Outdoor Space

Inviting gathering spots

The west side of the building will be transformed into an oasis. Shade areas, lunch and casual eating spaces will define the space. Access to fresh air and a change of scenery will help students to clear their minds while socializing with their peers before and after school and during lunch hours.
