The Niwot High School Education Foundation distributes it’s funding through a variety of grants. Teachers at NHS apply for Major Grants and Mini Grants throughout the school year to help fund items such as educational activities, equipment, computer hardware and software.
The amount of a Major Grant to be awarded per proposal is between $500.00 to $2,500.00. The total school year major-grant fund is set by the NHSEF Board and is based on donations. The maximum award amount for a Mini Grant is $500.
The Niwot High School Education Foundation is offering scholarships recognizing community and school service to NHS graduating seniors who will be attending a two or four-year college program. The Rotary Club of Niwot will award two $1000 scholarships, the NHSEF will offer one Founding Directors Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Students may apply for one or more scholarships but there will not be duplicate recipients.
Please see the application forms for qualifications and other information. Scholarship funds are remitted directly to the recipient’s college or university tuition account. Applications must be submitted by midnight on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.
